Narex Richter bench chisels were very well received so now Narex has created Richter premium mortise chisels using the same premium Cr-V steel that is cryogenically treated as part of the heat treatment process.  Richter mortise chisel handles are made from domestic sustainably harvested European Ash known for its strength, toughness and attractive grain.   The ferrule and hoop are both made from stainless steel and a leather shock washer is included between the ferrule and handle.
